Neck Pain

Elbow pain: physiotherapy can help with a large number of elbow issues. Elbow pain can come from a number of different sources, Tennis/Golfers elbow, dislocations, Cubital tunnel syndrome, Olecranon bursitis and distal bicep tendinopathies and tears

Headaches can be from a number of different sources that physiotherapy can help with. Cervicogenic - Pain referred from the neck.  Tension - Often caused by Stress or poor posture. Migraine - Can be helped with managing neck triggers and relaxation techniques.

Foot Pain can have a huge impact upon our daily life. They can stop us enjoying our social lives and restrict our activities, even impacting out ability to work. Common issues we regularly treat include, plantar fasciitis and stress fractures.

Ankle problems: ankle sprains occur generally through the rapid change of direction. They are notoriously dismissed by patients and healthcare professionals but in fact can lead to much greater problems in the future if not adequately rehabilitated. Other ankle issues commonly treated through physiotherapy include Achilles tendinopathies and post-fracture rehab.

Polymyalgia

Polymyalgia Rheumatic is an inflammatory autoimmune condition. When the patient has a flare up it is not typically one joint. It is a system wide inflammatory process, which needs to be managed carefully. Considerations for elements such as bone density due to steroid use and pacing to avoid flare ups. It is certainly not no pain no gain. The body needs to be gently encouraged to move to avoid flare ups but to help reduce stiffness.

This condition needs to be considered for the body as a whole, we are not just discussing a bit of extra mobility in a joint. It affects the body as a whole impacting on areas such as gastrointestinal systems and eyesight to name just a few.
